A-Fest is back!

Date: 9th May, 2016

Andover’s family-friendly live music event returns to Andover High Street on Sunday 29 May 2016.

The best of Andover’s music scene will provide the musical backdrop to the free event that promises to provide an afternoon of entertainment for all the family.
First strum on a guitar string will be at 12pm with live music throughout Sunday afternoon. With family-fun top of the agenda there will be lots to entertain visitors including a number of fairground rides and a climbing wall. Local community groups will also be putting on displays and activities for all the family.

Event Manager Chris Gregory from the Andover Town Partnership said: “It’s going to be the Bank Holiday Weekend so the ideal time for everyone to get out with the family and have an afternoon of free entertainment.  We’ll have a great line-up of local bands providing the afternoon’s soundtrack and a whole host of activities to keep adults and children entertained.”

First band announced to play are headliners Nokando.  The local covers band are one of Andover’s long established, top flight rock bands who are renowned for their varied performances offering listeners songs from a wide range of styles and eras.

A-Fest is being organised by Andover Town Council, with the support of the Town Centre Partnership, Test Valley Borough Council, Andover College, Enham Trust and Test Valley Community Services.

Funds will also be raised on the day for Enham Trust and Papyrus and we urge all local residents to attend what promises to be a fantastic event for Andover.
