Her interests are helping people with shopping to talking, especially the elderly. She has been married for 50 years, has 3 children and 5 grandchildren, one who is in the RAF Police serving in Afghanistan at the moment. Barbara loves what she is doing with her life and would not change anything.

Alongside this Carol has volunteered with environmental groups and projects. She is joint founder member of Transition Town Andover a community group which works locally to promote a low carbon future.Carol Bartholomew BSC Hons Energy and Environmental Technology, Diploma in Occupational Therapy, registered with HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council).

Christopher was elected to Andover Town Council in May 2015.Christopher lives with his wife and two children on Weyhill Rd. He is a commodities and mining strategist and heads up Hallgarten & Company, a firm providing independent analysis of mining equities.He worked in the City of London beginning in 1985 as a corporate finance and equities analyst and as a freelance consultant on the restructuring of the securities industry. Earlier, he worked for the Federal and State governments in Australia. He grew up in Melbourne, Australia. He graduated in 1981 from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology.

Geoff McBride

Geoff McBride has been a member of Andover Town Council since May 2010. Geoff McBride BSc [Hons] MIET GSM, currently holds the position of Futures Programme Analyst at the Science and Technology Facilities Council. Geoff is a multi-disciplinary scientist and has worked on a multitude of projects including Europe's first mission to the moon SMART-1. Other projects include researching and developing technologies for devices such as Nano-thrusters for Spacecraft, Micro Gyroscopes and Micro Liver structures to name a few. His main work is now in UK Science Strategy.

Len Gates was elected to Andover Town Council in May 2015. Len is a retired Chartered Chemist specialising analysis, flavour chemistry and food safety. He was a borough councillor for Andover for eight years serving on the Planning Control, Scrutiny and Licensing Committees and played a leading role in the formation of Andover Town Council. Len has served as a trustee of Andover Charities, Alamein Community Association and Andover Trees United and as a school governor. He is currently a trustee/director of Age UK Mid-Hampshire.
