A-Fest

Date: 19th April, 2017

A-Fest is returning to Andover High Street on Sunday 23rd April 2017 2pm - 6pm

The best of Andover’s music scene will provide the musical backdrop to the free music event that promises to provide an afternoon of entertainment for all the family. Local community groups will also be putting on displays and activities for all the family.

The Revenant will be headlining the event, with 9 other local acts. The first band kicks of at 2pm

There is a focus on fun things to do for all of the family, with rides, a bouncy castle, face painting, and the Bus of Many Things, as well as a static bike display.  The organizers have worked hard to keep prices low, so that the whole family can enjoy themselves.

There will be refreshments available in the form of a hog roast, and an ice cream vendor, as well as Caffe Nero staying open for the whole of the event.

“It’s going to be a great day to celebrate St George’s Day and an ideal time for everyone to get out with the family and have an afternoon of free entertainment.  We’ll have a great line-up of local bands providing the afternoon’s soundtrack and a whole host of activities to keep adults and children entertained.”

A-Fest is being organised by Andover Town Council, with the support of Andover College, Andover Youth Council,  The Abel Foundation, Andover and District Mencap, Test Valley Borough Council and the Town Centre Partnership.

Funds will also be raised on the day for Andover Mencap and The Abel Foundation Charity and we urge all local residents to attend what promises to be a fantastic event for Andover.
