World War 2 event – Expressions of interest to join the working group.
In 2018, Andover Town Council organised an event to mark the centenary of the end of WW1, which brought people together across the town, generations, organisations, and backgrounds. The event was a huge success, bringing more awareness of the sacrifice made by people in the town in the first world war.
2025 marks 80 years after the end of the second world war, and Andover Town Council is looking to curate an event to mark this, celebrate the lives of all those who took part in the conflict both at home and abroad. The Working Group organising this is open to both Councillors and members of the public
