Len Gates

Ward: Harroway
Party: Liberal Democrat

Len Gates was elected to Andover Town Council in May 2015. Len is a retired Chartered Chemist specialising analysis, flavour chemistry and food safety. He was a borough councillor for Andover for eight years serving on the Planning Control, Scrutiny and Licensing Committees and played a leading role in the formation of Andover Town Council. Len has served as a trustee of Andover Charities, Alamein Community Association and Andover Trees United and as a school governor. He is currently a trustee/director of Age UK Mid-Hampshire.

Carol Bartholomew was Co-opted onto the Town Council on Thursday 10 September 2015.Carol has lived and worked in Andover since 1979 having worked in the health and wellbeing sector in the NHS, HCC and privately. Alongside this Carol has volunteered with environmental groups and projects. She is joint founder member of Transition Town Andover a community group which works locally to promote a low carbon future.Carol Bartholomew BSC Hons Energy and Environmental Technology, Diploma in Occupational Therapy, registered with HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council).
