On receipt of a valid request, the Returning Officer will set the date of an election to be held within 60 days of this notice (excluding Saturdays, Sundays and bank holidays), in accordance with Rule 5 of the Local Elections (Parishes and Communities) (England and Wales) Rules 2006.
If an election is not requested, Andover Town Council will co-opt a person to fill the vacancy as soon as practicable.
