The works are scheduled to begin on 24th October 2025 and are expected to take up to 19 days with phased road closures to through traffic between 07:30 to 18:00 during the school half term and then 09:00 to 15:00 during term time. The road will remain open outside these hours. The phasing’s will be as follows,
Phase 1 - 24th October 2025 will be for the full length Weyhill Road to Harrow Way.
Phase 2 – 27th to 31st October 2025 will be between Weyhill Road and Eardley Road.
Phase 3 – 12th to 28th November 2025 will be between Eardley Road and Harrow Way
While the schedule allows for potential delays, adverse weather or unforeseen circumstances may still lead to short notice changes. We will make every effort to provide timely updates, although communicating these to the public at short notice can be challenging.
