Following the adverse weather conditions experienced the week before last, our works programme has unfortunately been delayed. As a result, the start date for the drainage works on Vigo Road has been pushed back by a few days.
Given the proximity to the school and the need to complete the works before it reopens, we have also had to shorten the duration of this phase to minimise disruption.
The works are now programmed to start on Monday 27th October and are expected to last for 5 days, including the weekend (Saturday and Sunday). Due to the open excavation nature of the works, Vigo Road will need to remain closed 24 hours a day throughout this period.
Information signs advising road users will be updated on site.
