update on the completion of the Smannell Roundabout Improvements scheme in Andover.

Date: 8th December, 2025

The improvements included:

• a new signalised crossing on the A343 at the Smannell Road roundabout

• construction of a new footpath Vespasian Road and the A343

• construction of an uncontrolled crossing on King Arthurs Way – Knights Enham School (southern entrance)

The objective of the scheme was to improve access to the Knights Enham Junior School by walking / cycling / scooting.
